Baby Foot
How often can you use Baby Foot® exfoliating peels?
Our foot peels can be used whenever you notice the build up of dead skin cells on your feet. In order to keep your feet baby smooth, we recommend using them every two months. That being said, this timeframe can vary depending on the individual.
After my first treatment, I still have dead skin. When can I use Baby Foot® again?
If you still have dead skin on your feet after the first treatment, you can do it again. We recommend you wait two weeks after your initial application before you begin another treatment.
What should I do after I finish my foot peel treatment?
Bathe as usual. Additionally, it may be helpful to soak your feet in warm water each day, however, this isn't required for the foot peel to work.
Should I wash my feet after the 1-hour soak?
Yes, after completing the one-hour treatment, remove the plastic booties and rinse your feet thoroughly. Remember, don't apply lotion to your feet until the peeling process is complete. If your feet are too dry, you may use an oil-free moisturizer from time to time.
Can I use lotion after my foot peel treatment?
We recommend not using lotion after your foot peel treatment. Instead, if your feet become dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer.
Do I need to stay seated while I am using Baby Foot®?
No, you are permitted to walk around if desired. As long as your feet are soaking in the gel, your foot peel should work as intended. That being said, we recommend limiting the amount you walk during the treatment to ensure you get the results you're looking for.
When you buy a Baby Foot® peel, does it include plastic booties?
Yes. Each package includes two plastic booties that you'll use to soak your feet in our exfoliating solution.
Are Baby Foot® peels reusable?

Do I need to use Baby Foot® more than once for it to work?
No, only one application is necessary, which involves a one-hour soaking time.

After you've completed the foot peel treatment, you can expect it to take 3-7 days for your feet to start peeling. Usually, it takes approximately two weeks for your feet to peel completely, although results may differ between individuals. Soaking your feet should expedite this process. After peeling has begun, it should take 7-10 days for your feet to fully peel.
Does Baby Foot® work to remove the rough skin on my heels?
Baby Foot® is widely used by people who experience dry and rough skin on their soles or old dead skin cells on their heels and toes.
How often can I use Baby Foot® peels?
Technically, you can use our foot peels as many times as you want, as long as you purchase a new treatment. As we've mentioned, each treatment can only be used once. Dermasuri FAQs
How is Dermasuri Different Than Other Exfoliation Methods?
Unlike other loofahs or scrubs, the unique fabric literally grabs and sloughs off dead skin cells from the skin’s surface and simply rolls it off, revealing fresh, healthy skin underneath.
The Dermasuri mitt assists in reducing the build up of dead skin, which create blotchiness and a dull texture. The mitt is for a deeper scrub that effectively helps remove dead skin cells, working more effectively than the average loofah and gets to deeper layers more quickly than expensive scrubs or exfoliating peels.
How Do I Use Dermasuri Deep Exfoliating Mitt Body Scrub?
For optimal results (i.e., visibly see dead skin cells), follow instructions exactly.
Soften your skin with water only - Go into the shower, bath or steam for 5-10 minutes. Do not apply any soaps or lotions to the body. The fabric relies on friction. Soaps/lotions create a film which make the skin surface too slippery for the fabric to grab the skin.
Step away from water – Turn off the shower and squeeze away excess water from the mitt, leaving mitt slightly damp. Move yourself out of the water. Avoid drying yourself off and make sure that your skin remains moist. Begin to rub the glove up and down your body using long and firm strokes.
Remove layers of dead skin -Begin to rub the glove up and down your body using long and firm strokes. Exfoliate using vigorous, upward and downward strokes until you see dead skin cells roll away. Repeat for each section of your body. The more pressure you apply, the better the results.
Be extra gentle on your sensitive areas. You may notice your skin start to peel after a few minutes. If this happens, avoid rinsing the peeling skin off your body as these skin particles will aid in further exfoliation.
Moisturize Once you have achieved your desired level of exfoliation, rinse your body with water to wash away the skin particles. Dry yourself off and apply your favorite body oil or moisturizer.
Why Am I Not Peeling?
The amount of exfoliation depends on skin type and body area. Some may exfoliate microscopically whereas others will visibly see dead skin roll away.
The skin has cycles where some days you exfoliate more than others. DO NOT USE SOAP OR OILS PRIOR.The mitt requires friction. Soaps and shampoos make it too slippery for the mitt. We recommend that you start with a 5-10 minute soak in just hot water (no bath salts, bubble bath, oil or suds). The soak will help soften the skin and also remove any lotions or creams previously on skin.
How Often Should I Use This?
Recommended use once every 2-4 weeks and replace mitt every 6 months, or as needed.
How Do I Wash the Exfoliating Products?
Wash with soap and water. Line dry. Do not machine wash.
Is It Normal for My Skin to Turn Red After Using the Mitt?
Yes, it’s perfectly normal for your skin to temporarily turn red after scrubbing. This is due to increased blood circulation. It should return to its normal state within a few minutes. If it doesn’t, try scrubbing with less pressure the next time.
